The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals
The program is part of the Swedish governments international award scheme aimed at developing global leaders for the United Nations Sustainable Development and it is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden and administered by SI. The goal is to equip 300 participants with the skills necessary to play an active role in developing the societies they live in.

The Nordic African Institute ? Claude Ake Visiting Chair
The program is to awarded to 1 applicant to honor the fond memory of Claude Ake, a prominent African scholar and humanist. It is intended for scholarly participants who combine a commitment to scholarly engagements and strong social advocacy and justice. It is an invitation from globally recognized senior scholars and professorial competence. This award is financed by the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, and the Nordic African Institute.
The grant covers 25,000 SEK Stipend/month for the 3 months duration of the program. Travel costs and accommodation for holder and accompanying spouse where applicable.
