Comprehensive student grant for Peruvians to study and earn a degree in Japan

The Government of Japan offers 4 types of scholarships to Peruvian students and professionals. Among the requirements is being under 35 years of age and a university graduate for the postgraduate modality; and be under 24 years of age and graduated from high school or attending the last year of the same for undergraduate, technical and occupational modalities.

The Government of Japan, within the framework of academic cultural cooperation with Peru and taking into account the relations of good friendship between the two countries, offers four types of scholarships to Peruvian students and professionals.

Registration for these four types of scholarships, currently in call, will culminate on Thursday, May 30 for undergraduate, technical and occupational, and Thursday, June 6 for postgraduate. An informative talk will be held in the Dai Hall Auditorium of the Japanese Peruvian Cultural Center on Friday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m.

The postgraduate modality is aimed at university graduates from various professional areas. The undergraduate, technical and occupational modality is targeted at students interested in studying a professional or technical career. The studies will be conducted in various universities and institutes in Japan.

All the modalities of scholarships are integral, since they cover the costs of travel, stay, studies, etc., for as long as the scholarship remains as such in Japan.

How to apply for this student bursary?

The requirements to apply are:

  • Have Peruvian nationality.
  • Be proficient in the English language (intermediate level concluded).
  • Enjoy good physical and mental health.
  • Be under 35 years of age and a university graduate for the postgraduate modality; and be under 24 years old and graduated from secondary education or attending the last year of the same for undergraduate, technical and occupational modalities.

Informative talk

An informative talk will be held in the Dai Hall Auditorium of the Japanese Peruvian Cultural Center (Av. Gregorio Escobedo, 803, Jes?s Mar?a) on Friday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m.
